Another alternative to appreciate are the delicious "chops" of lamb roasted with fire of twigs, and the black pudding and chorizo de Burgos.
The Castilian bread is typical and tasty in the area, the typical "oil cake" accompanies perfectly with the lamb, along with a good salad.
The cookies, desserts and sweets continue to shape the traditional gastronomy.
The vineyards dominate the landscape of the Ribera del Duero, the wines of the region have achieved in recent years an exceptional quality and international recognition.
The Regulatory Board of Denomination of Origin of Ribera del Duero is located five km. away of "La Casa Azul de la Ribera", in Roa de Duero, and can provide a map of the wine tourism designation of origin Ribera del Duero.
